The pack was true to description size and the material is soft, but yet durable. It is great for hikes and an afternoon at the beach. It's pockets are great for watter bottles, snacks, and doggie bags...there is an area on the pack that headphones can go through, though you have to make the hole...I guess it is optional. I like the side zip.

Bought to use for grocery shopping and packing while cycling. Works very well for 10-15 items. Really enjoy the natural look of this bag and it functions well for the needed activity. I will probably use it for hiking if it is still in good condition next summer. I would have prefered snaps instead though.

I carry this back pack to work, and I love it. The backpack itself holds alot of stuff and looks really nice as well.

well made; handy pockets; unsnaps too easily; better for an outing than for school or work (too short for textbooks, notebooks, etc.)

I ordered this for my son for school, reading that it was "ideal for books". I checked the dimensions. Everything seemed o.k. I ordered it and when I got it, found out that the openings, both top and side zipper, are too narrow to fit a typical school textbook or binder in. There is no way this is ideal for books unless we are talking about paperbacks are something much smaller than school books. My son thought it looked cool anyway, so we returned it and are now trying for one of the larger versions. Too bad there are no reviews there.
