4 of 5 Not a bad camera for price Thursday, September 25, 2008 pat from Princeton, NJ
Bought this camera as a gift item for an older couple, but, got to use it for 3 weeks. Overall a decent small camera for the price (Paid $89). Decent picture quality.
The camera uses 2*AA batteries. Initially I got really frustrated with battery life and was about to return the camera. Replacement batteries would last only few clicks. Please do yourself a favor and get a good rechargeable AA batteries for digital camera. If you must buy regular alkaline battery, buy the appropriate AA battery for digi camera, which I didn't know. I am always used to buying rechargeable battery packs, just plug in and recharge!!!
I didn;t get to use HD video much, but, quality looked pretty decent. Had to download special CODEC on my computer to get the voice with video.
Wish it used the standard USB cable used by other digital cameras I own (Canon, Sony). Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 HD video is not perfect Monday, July 28, 2008 A Customer from Boston MA
Amazing for the price, but keep in mind that the HD video will not work perfectly. I spent an additional $25 to get the Kodak brand high-speed SD card designed to allow for proper HD video recording to flash, but it is still jumpy. The stills are great though,
and more than justify the expenditure. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Worth it, even if just for the video Monday, July 28, 2008 ScottyP from Rolla, MO
I basically got this camera for its video features alone, and it has not disappointed. The 720p video the camera captures is far better than the video quality of my Canon Elura 100 miniDV camera (which costs 3x as much).
My only gripe is that the video is in Quicktime format. As a Vista user, if I want to edit the video, I first have to convert it. It's a pain. WMV HD recording capability would have been amazing.
The still-image quality is pretty good, but it's the video capabilities that make this camera a must-have. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Camera Wednesday, March 26, 2008 Mindell02 from San Diego, Ca
I'm a big believer in Kodak brand cameras having owned 3 other point and shoots I was due for another new one. Previous to purchasing this camera I bought 2 other kodaks that were decent but not quite what I was looking for in a point and shoot style camera. When I saw this camera in the store and tested out the features were exactly what I was looking for. Being able to shoot pictures in manual mode is amazing and the video quality is awesome! I just recently took this camera to a concert and got some great shots and videos. Its well worth the purchase!! Was this review helpful?

A 12MP Camera For 30% Less Than Any Other Brand. Small And Usable Desent Camera Except For Battery Use Which Is Terrible. I Would Purchase Again For The Price. Was this review helpful?

I love it, great picture quality and easy to use. I have not had a chance to learn everything about it yet, but I'm very much a novice and most of my picture taking is of my grandkids. But this is the best deal I have found on a camera with this many megapixels. You will love it too!! Was this review helpful?
