5 of 5 Great case for the money Thursday, October 02, 2008 Ed from New Jersey
Antec cases just work, and I also like the understated look, especially with the "mesh" surround on the front. For this price, including an efficient power supply, it's a great deal. Very quiet also, and plenty of room considering the exterior dimensions. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great company Monday, April 21, 2008 Linda from Boomer, WV
Any time I order from buy.com I have had the best service. They ship faster than any other company I've ordered from. And ordering is easy and hassle free. I have even paid a few dollars more at buy.com for a product over another site, just because I value the service and the reputation of the site and company. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Another good Antec box. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 A Customer from Greensboro, NC
I have always had good experiences with Antec products and this case is no exception. The average system builder will have no problems with the interior layout and hook ups. I like the "green effect" of the high efficiency power supply as my server runs 24hrs. Purchased on sale from Buy.com as they had the best price and fast delivery. Would buy again. 5 of 5 Great case, needs better documentation Saturday, February 16, 2008 Pavel Kolinko from San Diego, CA
Overall this is a great case. Some reviewers have commented on the fact that you have to remove the top panel before removing the sides. That's fine, in fact it makes it easier to access any part of the system. I thought everything was great about this case, including PLUS 80 certified Earthwatts supply, all the connectors are easily accessible, plenty of room and cooling/fan options.
However, I do have a complaint about documentation: when you are assembling the case, there are no indications as to which screws have to be used for what (securing motherboard, securing hard drives). The screws with a long smooth portion (no thread) are used for hard drives due to the little rubber things on the hard drive bay.
Unfortunately some of the motherboard mounting screws that look identical, do not fit the brass standoffs. Some of them fit well and some of them don't, but they look identical. So you have to manually try which ones easily fit the brass standoffs. Otherwise when you mount the motherboard, you will find out that you can't remove it, because the "bad" screw is stuck and you can't undo it. Really annoying to say the least.
In summary, its a great case, but be careful with the screws when you are mounting the motherboard. Was this review helpful?
